Great guest appearance with Chad Smith. Like I said before: Smith and Jojo would be a reason enough for me to go, but I will be travelling at the time of the festival.

Hopefully Danny Carey's performance will be on the DVD this time! He did it several years ago and Rick Van Horn from MD said that Tool was in a dispute with their label, which strictly forbid any outside performances.

Also, I'm told that Keith Carlock was one of the few drummers (Manu aside) that Vinnie approved of for Sting's band. I've heard him play a few times and he's smokin'....

I wish I could go to the show, but will have to settle for the $60 DVD this time next year...

I love Keiths groove. But Sting apparantly couldn't hook up with it, I heard through a friend of mine on that tour that Sting didn't enjoy Keiths laid back groove and kept trying to get him to play brighter feeling time, more on top. He lost the gig due to this. Without giving out too much info, my source of this info comes from a band member.
